Alibi Ale Works open in Truckee

Alibi Ale works of Incline Village opened a second location in Truckee in June of 2017. The public house and live music venue in Truckee was rocking last night as Groove Foundry brought their popular local beat to the stage.

Standing room only and a busy bar seem to be the case after Truckee Thursday's as the new hot spot brings in a crowd from 21 to 101 to enjoy a line-up of frequently rotating beers and great musical talent. There is a kitchen that offers a variety of small bites, and minors are welcome most nights until 9pm. http://www.alibialeworks.com/truckee-public-house.html

Alibi Ale uses pure Lake Tahoe water to craft a wide range of beers that will appeal to a variety of tastes, and allow the open-minded consumer to expand their beer horizons. Their brewery and tap room has been popular since they opened over 2 years ago, and has grown much faster than expected. http://www.alibialeworks.com/incline-brewery-and-taproom.html

Owners Kevin Drake and Rich Romo have taken a dream and turned it into an amazing reality. Brewer Drake entered an amatuer beer competition and won, inspiring him to turn his passion into a business. Jack-of-all trades Romo built everything in both locations and the results are beautiful, comfortable, and visually interesting and exciting.

The Incline location has daily specials. It is an over-21 establishment, but welcomes leashed dogs (with well-behaved owners!). They do not have a kitchen but invite you to bring your own food or enjoy takeout from a variety of local restaurants, as well as food trucks that come in on occasion. Wednesday is Pop-Up Sushi night and is a locals favorite.

Please stop in to one, or both, of these locations and see what Alibi has to offer while enjoying a wonderful place to gather. Information on Alibi and what each location offers can be found on their websites above, including hours, food and drink offerings, and upcoming events.
