Groove Foundry to play 4 shows over 2 days April 14 & 15!

Groove Foundry, a local favorite band we have told you about in the past, will have some great venues and performances this weekend.

Friday, April 14th should bring sunshine and warmer temperatures as we enjoy a springlike day in the midst of more storms. The weather should be perfect for the first show at the Village at Northstar. The band will play from 2-5 pm, and the village has loads of amenities to help you relax, or skate on the rink while the band brings it's unique vibe for your enjoyment. You can find information about the venue at http://northstarcalifornia.com

Later that night, and Saturday the 15th as well, the band will rock Bar of America in Truckee at 9pm. They are one of the favorites at this location and will likely draw a large crowd to fill the dance floor. There is never a cover charge at 'BofA' and the kitchen serves the full lunch/bar menu until 10pm. There is a full bar, with happy hour M-F 4-6pm. Friday night features fish tacos, raffles every 30 minutes and food and drink specials from 6-9 so come early and enjoy... It is the last special Friday of the season! http://barofamerica.com

Saturday afternoon the band will be at Squaw Valley on the KT sundeck 1:30-4:30 for after ski fun, or simply great music in a beautiful setting. The village is dog and family friendly with numerous activities for all ages. The theme for this event is crazy hats and helmets. http://squawalpine.com

Come out for one or more shows and if you aren't already hooked on Groove Foundry, you will be. You can find out more about the band, it's members, hear music and view videos, as well as find out about other upcoming shows on their Facebook page or website  http://reverbnation.com/groovefoundry

Saxophone Tenor and band manager Todd Mather will be interviewed on Friday the 14th from 11am - 12pm on the  local radio station 101.5 so tune in and hear more about this great group. Hope to see you at a concert this weekend!
